reyonthehill: But, Mom.
But, Mom.
I have been wanting to poke fun of this one for a week. This is an example of why you should never save something to your bookmarks - get it done when you find it because you will end up never getting around to it.

Growing up with an older and younger sister and an older brother, the youngest three of us being less than three years apart, we very often found ourselves in trouble with the man - well, mom, in this case.

It looks like it still happens to the Bushies...

- Condi, the youngest, knew what they were doing was wrong the whole time, unsure how she was involved in the first place, it was all a big blur.

- Bush, the one the kids turn to to get out of trouble, he knows what to tell mom, she understands him the best. He can turn on the charm, "Mom, I'm telling you, we had no idea." And, the best thing about it, mom believes him. But why shouldn't she, he truly doesn't understand why what they did was wrong.

- Dick, the one in the middle. Even if mom knows, who cares, it was fun, let's do it again. There is no need to feel sorry about it. So what, we were caught; it's going to happen. We don't live our lives for nobody.

- And Rummy, the oldest and wisest, he knew the consequences the whole time. In fact, this happened to him not too long ago, with the exact same result. He understands mom is upset, but there was no way he was going to be able to stop the three young ones anyway; might as well join in the fun.
