Lieberman: Should he stay or go? (9 in series of 9)
Nine democrats are currently vying for the democratic nomination for President. This list may expand by 2 or 3 in the (near) future. Let's take a look at the nine candidates and determine whether they should continue their earnest campaigns or bow out gracefully.

Ninth in the series: Joe Lieberman should retire.

Lieberman was the Vice President-elect for a few weeks (during the stolen election of 2000). Joe is a distinguished senator and is very well known, the primary (and quite possibly the only) reason he has been among the front-runners in polls. Joe Lieberman should not run for president. He is too conservative. Joe feels the middle-of-the-road "Clintonesque" political stance is the way to beat Bush by garnering independent voters. That may be true. But those votes (and victory in the election) can (and should) be achieved with good domestic and foreign policy, and Lieberman doesn't offer either. Lieberman should step aside and support whomever wins the nomination.
