Nine democrats are currently vying for the democratic nomination for President. This list may expand by 2 or 3 in the (near) future. Let's take a look at the nine candidates and determine whether they should continue their earnest campaigns or bow out gracefully.

Seventh in the series: Al Sharpton should stay in this race.

Al Sharpton is exciting, loud and brash. He is exactly what is needed at the debates (which at times becomes too boring for the average American to watch). Sharpton will, with no doubt, liven things up a bit. Sharpton brings up issues that no one else will. He neither holds any office nor is expected to run for any other office, so there is no loss for him to stick around a little bit longer. He is fun to watch. Sharpton will not win the nomination but he deserves a shot and he deserves to be in the race.
