Joe Lieberman has left the democratic race. It only he would have left sooner. He set his "lofty" goal on Delaware (the smallest state in the union) and lost handedly. Joe Lieberman is a centrist and a centrist is not what the Democrats want to run against Bush in November. (Imagine those debates: "I agree with George," and, "I agree with Joe.")

Joe should keep his seat in the senate, where he is wanted and has a chance to push his "centrist" ideas forward. I would never have voted for Joe Lieberman. I would have voted with the Green party if Lieberman was the nominee. However, if it was only a Lieberman v. Bush election, with no other candidates, then of course I would vote for Joe. (I ain't that nuts.)
