Listening to my favorite radio program on the way into work this morning, I don't know the title, let me call it "3 Wacks," on my favorite radio channel in the Bay Area, KSFO 560AM, home of the Sean Faggity show, a great idea was examined. Death democrats. You see, death democrats are those who favor the appropriate opinion of the state judge in Florida that the Schiavo decision is in the husband's hands. And as the show stated, "they [the democrats] deserve it [the label]." Well maybe I do. Funny, the radio show continued, "She is not in a coma, she is not in a vegetative state." Excuse me, a brief review of the facts, please. The case doesn't involve a woman with the flu. The program, apparently (looked up on web), is "Sussman, Morgan & Vic." Who is willing to get in on guessing how many of them went to college? Graduated? (Come on, I have lost hope with my NCAA brackets.)

If George W. Bush, beloved president of these United States, has to wake up from his sleep at 1 AM to sign a bill, you know it's for his base. And anyone wonder why the dreamy Republicans waited to pass legislation "reinstating the feeding tube," instead of rushing to pass legislation "to not remove the feeding tube." It is more dramatic this way, isn't it? The politics of death is very contentious. The role of the government, state or federal, has been limited to not get involved in personal matters. What next? A federal ban on abortion? (Knock on wood.)
