The White House v. The West Wing
So you stole another election and you think that the left, Hollywood included, was just going to roll over. Feeling snippy since Alan Alda's character, a republican candidate for president in the NBC series The West Wing, lambasted those who used religion in campaigns, the White House voiced some disdain for liberal Hollywood. Lawrence O'Donnell, who I have earlier suggested to run for the highest office in the land, creator and chief writer for the show, responded to the complaints.
"If the White House worries that when that subject comes up it is somehow aimed at the president, well, you know, who told them to use religion in campaigning so much? There's no one in our modern political history who has used his religiosity more deliberately and actively and falsely in campaigning than George Bush."

Could we even have a President Larry? Is that allowed? What has been the strangest first name of a president? We have gotten used to Abraham; that must have taken people by surprise. How about President Grover? President Ronald?
