The Bush administration controls bad news like cats control mice. They kill it/them. Unfortunately for the cats, and the Bush administration, there is always residual evidence of such killings. Take for example the case of the Pentagon refusing to release photos of the thousands of American soldiers returning home in caskets. Finally, after numerous lawsuits, the Pentagon has released these photos, in what the National Security Archive, a non-profit organization, describes as "an outrage and an insult." For clarification, please see the image below (click to enlarge). Please note that the Pentagon edited and blacked out portions of the photos, rendering the images useless and inappropriate to display.
