How could there be any legitimacy to the Bloggies this year when this site isn't even nominated?

And, yes, I do give props to Wonkette (who has retired, by the way, to write novels nonetheless), Crooks and Liars (great content, horrific design), Talking Points Memo (this guy is a professional), firedoglake (pretty much, a reyonthehill clone; written by three people though), and Daily Kos (sixty-thousand users and counting; no editing). But, in my humble opinion, if this blog isn't nominated for best political weblog, why not for best designed, best tagline, or even, best kept secret, and dare I say it, most humorous? The Bloggies are a sham, people; the Grammies have more creedence. I'm taking the high road here...
Um, by the way, I absolutely forgot about the Bloggies' nominations this year, and I so totally would have nominated myself, if I had the chance. What say you? (Six years of these awards and counting and still no love from the blogging community elite... Who are these people, anyway, and who pays them?) High road...
