Bush Approvals Hit Twenties
Take three out of ten people... and Bush still couldn't win the support of them. "29% think Mr. Bush is doing an 'excellent or pretty good' job as president." That is bad. I mean, real bad.

Is this a result of ridiculously-high gas prices? Yes.

Is this the affect of a war going nowhere in Iraq? No doubt.

And is this a sign that the public is growing overly concerned with the way that the Bush administration does its dirty business? Of course.

These are not "outside" factors. Bush has, in some way, power or effective power to make policy change and sway people's opinions on these matters. What am I saying - it is the press that is at fault. Who are they to report the "bad" news? What about all the good things? Like the rising interest rates my bank is paying me to hold my money...
