I promised myself to not get rash, but if Lindy Ruff, coach of the Buffalo Sabres, does not win coach of the year, I will kill myself. Point is, Ruff is the longest-tenured coach in the league, coaching one of the youngest teams in the league, a team that won a franchise-record 52 games (fifth best in the league) in a season they were not even supposed to sniff the playoffs.
