- Tim Grieve, as usual, has found a golden nugget of hypocrisy from the GOP: "South Dakota Sen. John Thune beat Tom Daschle in 2004 by making the case that the incumbent was obstructing the agenda of George W. Bush. So how would Thune run if he had to run again now? 'If I were running in the state this year, you obviously don't embrace the president and his agenda.'"

- And it still amazes me that a horrific event in our nation's history that revealed the immense incompetence of the president and his national security staff is consistently and perennially being used (and abused) as a means to get fellow republicans elected. I'm talking about nine-eleven, if you didn't catch that. (But you did.)
