Syriana, Egypt and Milan
Since watching and returning (and being mostly disappointed as a result of) Syriana, this is one of the coolest articles I have read in a long time: "Prosecutors said three Americans being sought were CIA agents... An Egyptian cleric and terrorist suspect also known as Abu Omar, was allegedly kidnapped from a Milan street... Prosecutors say [the terrorist suspect] was taken by the CIA to a joint U.S.-Italian air base, flown to Germany and then to Egypt, where he says he was tortured."

And then follow that up with this classic Robert Baer quote (whose book, "See No Evil," was the basis for the film "Syriana"): "If you want [the suspected terrorist] to be tortured, you send them to Syria. If you want someone to disappear – never to see them again – you send them to Egypt."

Endnote: Syriana was a pretty good film, just not as good as I had hoped and expected. I guess that is what hype does to something.
