I have started reading Kurt Vonnegut's last novel Timequake...

I don't remember exactly how I came in possession of this Vonnegut novel, I must have fifteen or so of his books; it is time to finally read it.
Having finally finished House of Sand and Fog, a truly horrible story, but a good book with an uncomfortable and surprising amount of explicit sex (Sitting in a train reading, and having your neighbor peer over to what you are currently reading, only it having to be one of those few passages scattered throughout the novel describing -- in detail -- sexual encounters, leads to receiving some relatively dirty looks. I'm still reeling from the fact that this was featured in Oprah's book club.), it is time to return to Vonnegut.
