The highlight of the game came when Barry Bonds hit his 747th career home run, good for second on the all-time home run list.
I podcasted, as promised, for the visiting A's Superfan Network, with special co-host BHBJ, who spent some air-time discussing baseball with Tim Riley (of Tour for the Cure)...

I should mention that the drunkenness as the game goes on is clearly evident in the podcast, unlike previous ones, I think. (By the way, if you are unsure what the difference is between a safety and suicide squeeze, as heard in chapter 2, you can do some light reading.)
After the game, we were serenaded in the elevator...
Before the game, my friend and I had an opportunity to throw back a few pre-game beers with the Rat Man at a San Francisco brewery...

Note: I recorded via phone for this podcast (again), so the nightmare that was the audio quality from last week's game will hopefully never happen again.
