- It is never the original deed, but always the cover-up. With evidence that the RNC has deleted several thousand email messages, "the Bush administration may have committed 'extensive' violations of a law requiring that certain records be preserved."

- It is tough being the "next Ronald Reagan." Apparently. GOP presidential candidates are being urged "to put distance between themselves and an unpopular president."

- Jon Stewart should have always had his own talk show. It's been a crime against society that we are limited to only ten minutes of Stewart crosstalk, the single best part of the Daily Show.

- And "Senate Democrats are seeking a major reversal of energy tax policies that would take billions of dollars in tax breaks and other benefits from the oil industry to underwrite renewable fuels." I smell a veto.

Maybe the RNC employed a relative of Rose Mary Woods, she of the mysterious 18-minute gap on the Watergate tapes. Those RNC staffers have never been very good with technology, have they?
