Jasper Fforde's The Fourth Bear mostly fits into fantasy. It's unusual, but interesting, and somewhat funny. So far.
I began reading the book some ten days ago, and it is certainly lighter than Ayn Rand or even Vonnegut, which is both refreshing and fitting amidst the seasonal holiday cheer.
This is a book I purchased because I had a buck or two remaining on a Barnes & Noble gift card, and instead of sinking it into grab-mes at the check-out counter, I invested it into another book. Well done, young man.
