A California appeals court has decided that homeschool teachers must be credentialed for the children to be allowed to be homeschooled. If not, they must go to public school.
I understand that this may upset the dozens of parents who actually do homeschool their children in the state (keeping them away from the liberal and anti-American public school teachers), but on the face of the decision, it makes not only sense, but the decision is also a practical guide for accrediting future teachers in the state.
Disclaimer: I was not homeschooled (public schools for me, but good ones), and I reserve the right to poke fun at those who were homeschooled.
