Mozilla

I have just switched from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox. And I have just started using Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mail at home. (We use Outlook where I work.) These products, which are free and open-sourced, are a result of the browser wars of the late nineties. Internet Explorer was able to power its way to the top using the Windows monopoly, virtually pushing Netscape Navigator to the roadside. As a result, the Netscape people gave away the code to their program, and years later, project Mozilla has come to fruition. Download, or at least read up on, superior products at mozilla.org. Firefox has its flaws – for example, reycorp blog looks totally different, and I will try to find out why and fix it. But Thunderbird puts Outlook to shame. It is a complete massacre in comparison. Try it out.
