I Have Been Invited To Meet The President For Dinner

In the mail a few days ago I received a special letter from the president. Yep, that’s right, I received a letter from President Bush. It was an invitation to attend the President’s Dinner in Washington, D.C., on June 14. (Talk about advanced notice.) It included letters from Vice President Dick Cheney and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, and they thanked me for all the hard work I had performed during the re-election for the GOP. I am not kidding.

Here is the envelope (click to enlarge)…

And the invitation (click to enlarge)…

And how about the Dick Cheney and Bill Frist letters gratefully thanking me (click to download pdf)…

Is it possible that the Bush re-election people really believe I helped Bush? Do they have me confused with someone else? (No one has lived previously at my address. I have been a registered Democrat for my entire voting life. I subscribe to liberal newsletters and I receive emails from Senator Barbara Boxer.) I must tell you though that I hope not one of my blog entries helped put Bush over the top in Ohio this past November, because it seems the Bush administration thinks so. I have been forced to go through the my archives to find out.

I think it sounds delightful. What say you invite me as your date and I throw on my “I still hate George Bush” sweatshirt”. Ha ha ha ha…

that is very weird…………….only this administration could make a screw up like this. You would have had to donate some serious cash or killed some dem. voters to be invited to the president’s dinner. maybe there is another jeff wisniewski out there who was a bush advocator…………..you should look it up.
