Parade Magazine Now A Political Ally Of The Right

You are familiar with Parade Magazine, the mindless 20-or-so-page mini-magazine that is packaged among the endless Office Depot and Safeway fliers in the Sunday newspaper. Parade, besides from being the most prominent place to advertise the most recent advancements in medicine, is also striving to become a highly-regarded political magazine. And it leans right.

Take for example, Walter Scott’s Personality Parade as published on July 31, 2005. The second question, following, “Q. Some men are intimidated by tall women, but not Tom Cruise. Just how tall are Tom and the women he’s chosen to marry?” sent from M.S. in Newport, Rhode Island, and preceding, “Q. Did Jane Goodall, known for her work with chimpanzees, ever marry and have children?” sent from Elaine Lombardo in Middleton, Massachusetts,” was this doozy…

The author of Personality Parade, although one would assume is Walter Scott, is actually one Edward Klein, author of a slander-filled anti-Hillary book published recently that alleged, among many things, that Hillary is a closeted lesbian and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, is still cheating on her. What do I believe? I am just relieved there are at least a few pro-American politicians in Europe, or else we would all be doomed. That, or the Iraq war would turn to a quagmire, with no victory in sight…
