August 6, 2001, Edition of "Where Are They Now?"

Although most news agencies are only referring to this photo as “August 2001,” “Summer 2001,” or just plain old, “2001,” it has been confirmed that this photo of Harriet Miers and George W. Bush was taken on August 6, 2001. And it was Harriet Miers job to sift through the presidential dailiy briefings (PDBs) and hand Bush the most critical ones. On August 6, 2001, that included a PDB titled, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US.”
