The Most Poorly Named Day Of The Year

Today is apparently World AIDS Day. (I didn’t have it marked on my calendar. Did you? And shouldn’t we get such a day off from work? I’m just saying…) What a poorly named day. Shouldn’t it be AIDS Awareness day, or even better, let us make this World Awareness week? Not World AIDS day. Are we supposed to celebrate the disease or something?
