It sometimes amazes me how Bush can get involved in a dialogue with himself while delivering speeches. For example, today he discussed the illegal wiretaps he signed off on… “It’s amazing that people say to me, ‘Well, he’s just breaking the law.’ If I wanted to break the law, why was I briefing Congress?” On a second point, isn’t this argument framework more in line with, say, a teenager, not the president of the United States?
