DC At Night [reyonthehill does dc]

No description needed, really. So here goes… This photo was taken as we trekked back to our hotel; the Capitol is in the background. I am a fan of the clock tower to the right, but I have no idea what building that is. The pedestrian crosswalks all have those handy-dandy countdowns. A little twist from the usual ones we see here in the Bay Area though: some of them start as high as 65 or 70 seconds; not just waiting until 20 seconds or so before turning on and counting down. (Seems a little silly.) However, on the bright side, if you’re three blocks away, you are able to plan your walk ahead a tad more efficiently. Advantage: DC.
