Justice Alito

Okay, okay, as I have predicted, Samuel Alito is headed to the Supreme Court to replace retiring moderate Associate Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. As Jake Tapper notes, that will place five (of nine) catholics on the bench, which may bode well for anti-choice proponents (that has got to be some sort of double negative). But I shouldn’t make too much hay; I will be getting married in a catholic ceremony this coming September. (I am an atheist, though, I swear. Okay, I’m quarter-pagan, as well.)
