No Anticipation At All

How many times have your heard it, from friends, family members, colleagues… “Yea, but they didn’t know the levees would fail.” All evidence up to yesterday hinted that the White House had little (but some) foreknowledge of the “anticipated” damage, but with yesterday’s news, it is absolutely clear that the Bush administration not only mishandled the Katrina disaster aftermath, it missed opportunities before the storm and was a large cog in the government mechanism that had derelict its duties.
