Preachy Morning After

(Editor’s Note: Man, this has become a preachy morning; it won’t last too long, I hope…)
The thirty-third anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v. Wade (January 22) came and went with not much more than a whimper. Pro-life marches were conducted in cities across America but were marked by peaceful, rather than violent, protests. Bush, however, couldn’t resist the temptation to do something spectacular to mark the anniversary. He proclaimed January 22 National Sanctity of Human Life Day, 2006, and in his proclmation, he noted… “One of my first actions as President was to sign an order banning the use of taxpayer money on programs that promote abortion overseas. Over the past 5 years, I also have been proud to sign into law the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, and a ban on partial-birth abortion.“
Chipping away… (Also, speaking of preachy…)
