Bush, GOP Scientologists?

Yes, “scientology” is certainly a buzzword as we close out the week, and maybe by using the term in the blog-title, it will guarantee visitors to this blog (but probably not). In fact, I am not even sure if scientologists claim to see in the future, but I feel it is safe to assume so.

Last night, as Bush talked to Congressional republicans and attempted to rally the crowd, Bush provided what certainly should become political fodder: “Ours [the GOP] is the party that can see into the future.“

It’s a pretty neat trick that they can show you, but only if you ask. The GOP took the night off before Katrina (of course), and they didn’t use their powers to foresee the Iraq quagmire (they were busy), but we’re still pretty sure they can see into the future. It just comes and goes, that’s all.
