Sweet Sixteen Over Analyzed

Don’t you hate it when people over-analyze sporting events…
Okay, so my bracket isn’t in great shape, but it ain’t a total loss… yet. However, as I have admitted before, I vote for the greatest games (I am not in a pool), so I will in fact be rooting for teams that would “mess up” my bracket.
I had Syracuse over Duke (not going to happen), so I want Duke over LSU. I have Texas over WVa in my bracket, but I will be rooting for West Virginia (Big East representing). I had Pitt over Memphis (a team I had originally in the Final 4 in my published draft bracket), so I want 13 Bradley (cinderella). And I have UCLA over Gonzaga.
My DC quarter is the bust in the tournament, with only Connecticut out of the four surviving. As a result, I have UConn over Washington and 11 George Mason (playing in their hometown) over Witchita State.
I do have a near-perfect quarter and a perfect regional in Minneapolis, but I am bending against both of my actual picks (and against my favor). I want Villanova over former-BigEaster Boston College and 7 Georgetown over Florida (Georgetown should be considered a cinderella) for an all-Big East regional final between two historic foes.
Therefore, due to the change in conditions (antecedent versus now), I have revised my hopes for a memorable final four: West Virginia (meaning WVa over Duke), UCLA, Connecticut and I’m in the air between Villanova and Georgetown. (Three teams from Big East, either way.)
