Reducing the World Cup to a Paragraph With Hyperlinks

All in all, I saw too little of the World Cup this year. Italy won (duh), a team that the U.S. nearly beat. Although I was rooting for France, it was nice to see the dirtiest player in the tournament get head-butted in the chest and fall flat on his back by the Frenchman who eventually won the Golden Ball. But the dirty player, Marco Materazzi, had the last laugh — scoring the game-tying goal in regulation and winning the World Cup. (Thanks to kottke.org, more video of Materazzi.)
