Real Conversations with the Fiancee

While driving home yesterday from the train station…

Fiancee: “Get out of this lane. This lane merges.”

Me: “Don’t tell me how to drive. You can make suggestions, but you should always start by saying, ‘Jeff, this is only a suggestion…’”

Fiancee: “Jeff, this is only a suggestion: Shut the fuck up.”

Then, of course, we broke out laughing. (And then I got out of the lane.)
