Voter Interest Not In GOP Interest

As I watch the president weakly defend his actions and inaction with regards to Iraq and North Korea (and Iran), the worst news possible for republicans is not the Foley-page scandal, but this: people are interested in politics (for the moment, that is). “Seventy percent say they are talking politics with family and friends.” You see what a sex scandal does for our society? But how many will actually vote?
