Alright, enough with Ryan Howard and his 58 home runs and his NL MVP award (the Phillies suck anyway, I know; the last time the Phillies appeared in the postseason, Darren Daulton was their catcher), but you have to admit, the player that Howard beat out — Albert Pujols — has the greatest player page ever…

You don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about? Here’s a hint: How do you say “Pujols?”

the phillies do not “suck” as much you would like to think. the world championship cardinals were able to get into the playoffs due to the fact they were in a weak division. the phillies won 2 more games than the cardinals but failed to make the wild card because the mets were so unbelievable in the regular season.

Yes, you are probably right; “suck” is too harsh a word to apply to the hapless Phillies, who haven’t won 90 games in a single season since Mitch Williams delivered a high fastball to Joe Carter on a cool October evening in Toronto.
