Bush And Dems Playing Iraq War Politics

I briefly opined on the politicization of the unfortunate Iraq war on Jake Tapper’s blog…
Unfortunately, both sides may be playing politics with the seemingly-endless war in Iraq. The president has his “legacy” and the democrats have the best political “weapon” this side of Social Security. (Someone should make a movie about this.)
The thing is, neither side is correct. But it is necessary to blame Bush and Cheney — this is their war, and apparently, they cannot get us out of it.

Just as Vietnam was Lyndon Johnson’s dirty little war, so is Iraq to George Bush and DIck Cheney.
