Bracket, Day One

Not too bad. I should stress too. Out of sixteen games, I correctly picked ten. Like I said, not too bad. The only long-term damage was my pick for Marquette (Big East representing) in the Elite Eight, but if UNC ends up going far, I should be redeemed in the ESPN Tournament Challenge. (After day one, I stand at 17.9 percent. Uhm, not too bad.)

With only one major upset on day one, VCU over Duke, the three upsets I had chosen were incorrect, leading me to think that choosing all favorites in the first round would be a good idea, but a lot of people did have Duke losing in the first round. Just not me.

Let’s hope day two turns out better. I need a drink.
