Bracket, Round Two

No, it didn’t go too well for my bracket this weekend, not too well at all. I went 8-8 overall, but the long-term damage is somewhat deafening: I lost half of my Elite Eight and half of my Final Four. So it goes…

I only had one “perfect” quadrant — the top-half of the St. Louis Bracket — where I successfully picked Florida, Purdue, Butler and Maryland in the first round, with Florida meeting Butler in the Sweet Sixteen. So it goes…

With regards to the ESPN Tournament Challenge, umh, I’ve regressed a bit, back down to 15.4 percent. Not too good. The only good news is — and that is a stretch — is that my national championship picks — Georgetown over Pitt — are still in play, for now.
