- Scientists are not allowed to talk about global warming without permission from the U.S. government. Science, one of the many things conservatives will never understand.
- The attorney general is on the hot seat and “may not last through the remainder of President Bush’s term.” I smell a Supreme Court nomination.
- And in twenty years, will U.S. history books write of the Bush doctrine as they do the Monroe Doctrine? Umh, I’m thinking “no” on that one.

I wonder which “Bush Doctrine” will be remembered most: the one that says preemptive strikes on terrorists are justified, or the one that says that it’s okay to fabricate evidence to go to war with a country that poses no threat to the US, all the while declaiming that we’re “spreading democracy.”
