Wife Stories: Med School

While watching House on Tuesday night, I said to my wife, “Maybe I should go to med school and become a doctor.”

My wife responded with some, but not a lot, excitement. “Oh yea!” [The money would be nice, even if it takes eight years, right?] She continued, “You would have to go back to undergrad and take organic chemistry, though.”

“Well, I could just take that one course at SJSU [the local college],” I reasoned.

“I guess you could.” My wife, always optimistic in my ventures.

And I sat there and thought.

“Oh man, I hate chemistry. Nevermind.”
