In the News… Easy Button.

Posted at 7:15 am on Friday, April 6, 2007, in In the News, and tagged cheney, iraq.

- “Captured Iraqi documents and intelligence interrogations of Saddam Hussein and two former aides ‘all confirmed’ that Hussein’s regime was not directly cooperating with al-Qaeda before the U.S. invasion of Iraq.” Now how do we travel back in time?

- “‘[Terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi] took up residence there before we ever launched into Iraq, organized the al-Qaida operations inside Iraq before we even arrived on the scene and then, of course, led the charge for Iraq until we killed him last June,’ Cheney told radio host Rush Limbaugh during an interview. ‘As I say, they were present before we invaded Iraq.’” Never mind the defense department report mentioned above.

- And the “Justice Department is refusing to release hundreds of pages of additional documents related to the firings of eight U.S. attorneys.” Hit the easy button; buy a shredder at Staples.
