- Bush has renewed his efforts for an immigration reform bill, which in all honesty, is not so bad. The bill will most likely lie in the votes of conservative democrats.
- The democrats are hounding the White House over GOP-issued laptops for administration officials, a system that “may have been used to conceal activities [such] as contacts with lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who was convicted on bribery charges and is now in prison for fraud.” And to think that this all started with blog-style reporting from the Washington Post’s Dan Froomkin.
- And the Buffalo Sabres regular season ends with the President’s Trophy for the first time in history, matching the franchise’s best 113 points, and winning the most games (53) in team history. First up in the second season, the New York Islanders.
