Alright, I’ll investigate…
Although Halliburton’s stock over the past few years has been up-and-down (like most publicly-traded companies), in the last five years, or since the Iraq war has begun, Halliburton’s stock has skyrocketed…

But what is infinitely more interesting than the 5-year graph, is the graph of Halliburton’s stock price over the past ten years, long before the Iraq war began, and how well the company fared during the record expansion of the economy under President Clinton…

Hmm… A general downward trend during the peace-time expansion of the late 90s, and then a rapid rise in the stock price upon the start of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. And a continued rise throughout the long, hard slog that is the neocon war in the Middle East.
Man, I’d love to have a piece of that stock.
