- John Edwards is using the Rove-Clinton sparring to his advantage, or he is at least trying to. (I’m warming up to Edwards.)

- Fred Thompson — who is not even in the goddamn race yet — is taking shots at Rudy Giuliani by “criticizing New York gun laws,” which is a weird angle, since as a one-time Manhattan District Attorney, Thompson had to prosecute those who violated those same laws.

- Is global warming no longer a liberal hoax? “Six Western states and two Canadian provinces pledged Wednesday to work together to cut greenhouse gas emissions.” Those states include Arizona and Utah, notable GOP states.

- And because of the wide publicity and customer complaints, Apple iPhone users will get a less-detailed phone bill in the mail. (I still want one, but I know I’d break the damn thing in less than a week.)
