   Unfortunately, this movie was dismissed by many people as a “chick flick” not worthy of serious consideration. I liked it, thought it was indeed a well-told love story, and thought the performances were very effective.

   I recall the film being marketed as a “chick flick,” and when I watched it, I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes marketers over-think things.
