Reaching out or speaking on black issues is not an appropriate action for persons looking to show off their conservative-base bona fides. It is a sign of the indecency of the GOP.

I’m afraid that the only way African-American issues would impress the conservative base would be if there were an announcement that the societal clock would be turned back to the antebellum South. Then, they’d pay attention.
