I’m a little slow today. I’m using Internet Explorer.
- Republican Chuck Hagel on 2008: “The Republican Party has won two elections on the issue of fear and terrorism. [It's] going to try again.” Although we knew that already. (By way of The Huffington Post.)
- Republican Tom Davis on Bush’s last months in office: “The test is, will Bush be as effective as Clinton, or is he so badly handicapped because of the war and other limitations?” As effective as Clinton.
- The New York Times now says that publishing the MoveOn.org Petraeus/Betray Us ad was a mistake. Whatever.
- And evangelicals may be turning leftward (which will make it tougher to rip on them, if they do). “[Evangelicals are] becoming vocal about the environment, AIDS, poverty and genocide — a newer set of ‘values’ that Democrats are more comfortable addressing.” Newer.
