Notes from the Bachelor

I wanted to take an opportunity and shill for the newest season of The Bachelor, of which I am one of many executive producers.
- The bachelor now has to make the toughest decision of his life… choosing fifteen out of twenty-five women, using looks as the basis. It is pretty much a beauty contest, with a short personality test, but it is mostly a beauty contest.
- The bachelor noted that the introduction of him with the twenty-five women had “exceeded expectations.” Much like when you open a pack of Starburst, and there is an extra red, that that exceeded your expectations.
- And now that the bachelor has made the toughest decision of his life, let the remaining fifteen women join in on a group hug.
Yass, yass, I watched the show with my wife. It was a one-time thing.

Well, I guess if somebody has to watch such drivel, better you than me. At the beginning of every TV season, just as I think programs can’t possibly get any worse, they do.
