Will Ferrell excels in stoner movies. Unfortunately, I wasn’t stoned when I watched this. There are funny parts, but stoner movies assume the viewer is still laughing from a joke five minutes ago, so only every five minutes are pretty good. The rest is junk. This is not nearly as good as any of Ferrell’s other movies. And I think John C. Reilly is overrated as a comedic actor.
