Worst Case Scenario

Republicans are typically scary, not physically, but politically.
It has been my biggest concern with the runaway success of Hillary Clinton’s campaign that she cannot win the general, since it is my belief it will be very difficult for her to win with her defined 45-45-10 voter make-up. (It is my opinion that 45% of people will definitely vote for Hillary and 45% of people will definitely not, with 10% undecided. She needs to clear at least half of that undecided bunch; and those undecideds are not New Yorkers, Illinoisans or Californians, they are Ohioans and Missourians.)
In the event that Hillary is the democratic nominee, and in the case she does lose, which republican candidate would I mind the least?
In order…
(1) Ron Paul — a libertarian at heart, the least troublesome of republicans.
(2) John McCain — a liberal-leaning hawk.
(3) Mitt Romney — you know he’s just saying this stuff to get elected; he’s normal.
(4) Rudy Giuliani — war-crazy, star-struck from nine-eleven, but socially-liberal.
(5) Mike Huckabee — maybe his state of the union sermons will include performing miracles.
Wildcards…
If Mike Bloomberg ran as a GOP, he would head this list.
If Newt Gingrich ran, he would be third or fourth.
Let’s face it, Fred Thompson will be dropping out sometime in early January, most likely on David Letterman (if the writer’s strike ends by then, that is).
