Clinton: Should she stay or go?

Eight democrats are currently vying for the democratic nomination for president. Let’s take a look at the candidates and determine whether they should continue their earnest campaigns or bow out gracefully.
And finally, Hillary Clinton of New York, by way of Illinois, Arkansas and DC.
Inevitable. How could you stop it? She leads every poll, including by a wide-margin, nationally. She leads almost every other head-on poll with any GOP potential nominee. She is a juggernaut. She was the first lady under a very popular president, and an even more popular former president. She is smart. She is politically cunning.
But can Hillary Clinton really defeat Rudy Giuliani in a general election (nine-eleven legacy versus Monica Lewinsky)? What about Mitt Romney? I am not so sure. I would vote for her. But forty-five percent of people already say that they will never. She faces a small margin of error.
Clinton is inevitable as the democratic candidate. However, I strongly feel that Hillary should make her mark as a great senator — easily the greatest (read: powerful) female senator, but she also has the potential to make her name in a long senatorial career — because it would be great if she won, but what if she lost.

disagree with you. I think she is not the inevitable candidate…and I don’t think she would be a great president. Good, but not great….and its hard to get anything done as the president when atleast half the country will be out to impeach her on something. Obama would be better but unfortunately, with the sad state of people in this country, even if he won the democratic candicacy (which is what republicans want), there are too many racist people who would never allow him to become president. Right now, it looks like a lose-lose…unfortunately. I like to be hopeful….but then reality sets in.

[...] Bonus: You were fooled. Clinton is and always will be an elitist (just as Obama is, same as Kerry, same as Gore). Being an elitist is not a bad thing. She is an intellectual; she is a cunning Washington power-broker. And that is why I like her, and that is why she should politic for the leadership and make her mark in the Senate. [...]
