Democrat Bracket, Round Two

The semifinals.
(1) Hillary Clinton – NY
===================== Clinton
(8) Dennis Kucinich – OH
==================================== Clinton
(4) Bill Richardson – NM
===================== Richardson
(5) Joe Biden – DE
Imagining as though this were a national contest, with only these two on the ticket, Hillary would run the floor. She would play soft until she needed to bring out the big guns. This one is over before it started, even though there will be some Clinton fatigue, and the strong Latino support for Richardson. Hillary secures her spot in the final, 79 to 21 percent.
(3) John Edwards – NC
===================== Edwards
(6) Christopher Dodd – CT
==================================== Edwards
(2) Barack Obama – IL
===================== Obama
(7) Mike Gravel – AK
I know what you are thinking, that I am some type of racist, but I assure you that I am not. First, Obama stands for nothing (in my humble liberal opinion). Obama seems to say anything (much like Mitt Romney on the other side). Edwards has a platform he is running on; Obama is running a campaign of rhetoric. Second, this is an assumed national vote with only two candidates on the ticket. With Hillary out of the picture, who gets more votes? Who do the Hillary voters fall back on? It is not Obama. Edwards squeaks by, 53 to 47 percent.
Next week, the final.

i’m surprised/dissapointed that you were swept up in that “hillary is the inevitable candidate” fiasco (per your previous blogs). Obama is looking pretty presidential right now…….and she is looking desperate.
we’ll see when voting time comes.

I think I’m being realistic. My top choices are: Richardson, Biden, Edwards. And then: Clinton, Obama.
